Does the transfer cover pre-existing issues?
No. The warranty transfer does not cover issues that existed before the transfer or that were caused by improper use, maintenance, or modification.
What if I miss the 120-day deadline?
Unfortunately, requests received after 120 days from the home purchase date are not eligible for transfer.
Can the warranty be transferred more than once?
No. The warranty is transferable only one time.
What happens if the product has been modified or repaired?
The warranty may not be eligible for transfer if the product shows: Unauthorized repairs Structural or aesthetic modifications Relocation or changes to the original installation Improper maintenance or misuse Damage beyond normal wear and tear
Will the warranty period start over?
No. The original warranty period does not restart or extend. The new homeowner receives the remaining balance of the original warranty.
How long does the approval process take?
Most transfer requests are reviewed within 7-10 days after all documentation is received. Additional time may be required if further review or inspection is needed.
Why are photos required?
Photos allow us to verify that the product is in good condition and has not been modified, moved, or damaged. This helps ensure the product continues to perform safely and as designed.
What documents are required?
To process your request, we require: Completed Warranty Transfer Form Proof of home purchase (closing statement, deed, or similar document) Interior photos of the TEMO® product Exterior photos of the TEMO® product Photos showing how the product is attached to the home Please review the sample photo guidelines before submitting.
How much does the transfer cost?
The transfer fee is $500 and is payable upon approval of the transfer request. We accept: Check Credit card (processing fees may apply)
Who is eligible to transfer the warranty?
The warranty may be transferred only once from the original purchaser to the immediate successor homeowner. The transfer must be requested within 120 days of the home purchase date.
